Co-Owner and Instructor
Thalia was born and raised on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and has been a lifelong an athlete with a background in gymnastics (age 8) and ballet. However it wasn’t until 2009 when she moved to Portland that Thalia discovered pole dancing. She was at ease in the supportive and safe environment and was enamored by the grace, strength and sensuality of pole dancing. By combining your natural athletic skill, artistic influence and flexibility, pole dancing is fun and empowering at every level. Even though Thalia loves all the high level tricks, in order to be a well rounded pole dancer you need strong transitions and awesome floor! All beginners are welcome, we can set a strong foundation for you to start your pole dancing journey. No matter level you begin at, you will build skills and strength as you grow and learn. Thalia loves to link fluidity and finding your freestyle with pole moves and combos - beginner to advanced. She has competed in the highest division of the 2013 Atlantic Pole Championship, 2013 Supershag Pole Fitness Championships and 2016 Northwest Pole Dance Championships, freestyle category. She also holds a BS in Criminology and a BA in Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, live music, and just spending time with her furbabies.
